# Organisation map

One map of every workspace's delivery maps, sites, and data layers, for owners and admins who need to see the whole organisation at once.

The organisation map shows everything your workspaces have drawn, on one
canvas. Where a workspace's **Explore** map stops at that workspace's edge, this
one doesn't: every delivery map, every site, and every data layer any of your
workspaces can see.

It's for the people running the whole operation — checking coverage across
electorates, spotting a gap between two depots' patches, or reading a dataset
without first picking which workspace to read it through.

> **Owners and admins only**
>
> The organisation view is open to organisation owners and admins. Members, even
> those with access to every workspace, work inside the workspaces themselves.

## Opening it

Open the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar. Each organisation is
listed with its workspaces beneath it; choose the organisation itself and the
sidebar changes to the organisation's own sections: **Maps**, **Members**, and
**Settings**.

To go back, pick any workspace from the same switcher.

## What's on the map

Use the layer selector in the toolbar to turn these on and off:

* **Delivery maps.** Every workspace's maps, each coloured by the workspace it
belongs to. Click one to see its name, its address count, and which workspace
  owns it.
* **Sites.** Hoardings, signboards, or sites from every workspace, coloured by
status the same way the tables are.
* **Data layers.** Boundaries and statistical datasets: every boundary layer
any of your workspaces can see, every dataset your organisation owns, and the
shared reference datasets. The organisation map is never cut to a workspace's
  [geographic scope](/docs/organisations/workspaces#geographic-scope).

## Making changes

The organisation map is for looking, not editing. Click a map or a site and
choose **Open** to jump into the workspace that owns it, where routes, sites,
and campaigns are managed as usual.
